E.B. Green Scholarship

The E.B. Green scholarship provides financial assistance to K-12 students who demonstrate financial need in order to attend educational and/or recreational summer programs on the University of Iowa campus. These funds could cover fees and materials related to attending a UI summer youth program.

 

Recipients of the E.B. Green scholarship wanting to attend a UI Sports Camp are subject to applicable NCAA rules regarding free admission to institutional sports camps.

 

Typical award range up to $300 (funding resources limited.)

You must be accepted to a UI Program to receive support. The summer program application is a separate process and should be arranged with the summer program you want to attend.

The Summer 2018 application is now open.

 

To be considered for the E.B. Scholarship, please fill out and return a completed application to the Center for Diversity and Enrichment prior to the deadline.

Please Note:

  • Priority will be given to applicants who did not receive funding in summer 2017. If funds are still available after awarding these students, applicants who did receive funding in 2017 will be considered in the order in which they were received until all funds are distributed.
  • Incomplete applications (i.e. – specific camp not listed, no proof of income or participation in federal programming included) will not be reviewed.

 

Students who were previously awarded funds but failed to show for camp will be disqualified from consideration.
