The online courses- Preventing Harassment on Campus- Supervisory and Non-Supervisory Faculty and Staff 2nd Edition- 2015-2017, will be unavailable from April 10 – April 14, 2017, due to system updates by the courseware vendor.

Employees who have started one of these courses must complete it before midnight on April 9, 2017, in order to receive credit for completing the course, otherwise, they will need to start the course from the beginning when the course re-opens after April 10, 2017. For employees whose due date for the course falls after April 10, we recommend they wait until after April 10 to begin the online course.

A notice to this effect will be posted on the landing page for the online courses and employees who have started but not yet completed the course within the past three months will be notified of the temporary outage.

Jennifer Modestou

Jennifer has worked at the University of Iowa’s Equal Opportunity and Diversity office since 1992.  Prior to her appointment as director of the office in 2007, she served as its director of campus relations. 

A native of California, Jennifer received a bachelor of arts degree (with honors) in political science from the University of California, Berkeley.  Jennifer spent a year abroad in Italy as an undergraduate, studying Italian language/culture at the University for Foreigners in Perugia and studying political science and economics at the University of Padova, Italy.
