The online courses Preventing Harassment on Campus- Supervisory and Non-Supervisory Faculty and Staff 2nd Edition- 2015-2017 are back online effective Friday, May 5, 2017 (May 5, 2017)

May 05, 2017

Access to the online courses- Preventing Harassment on Campus- Supervisory and Non-Supervisory Faculty and Staff 2nd Edition- 2015-2017, has been restored. Thank you for your patience as the courseware vendor migrated to a new learning management system.

Due to the extended outage of the courses, we have granted an additional extension of the due date for the following categories of employees:

  1. Faculty, teaching assistants, and other staff on 9-month or 10-month appointments who have an HP course due date before 7/1/2017 were granted an extension until 9/30/2017.
  1. All other employees due to complete the course before 6/8/2017 were granted an extension until 7/8/2017.

Employees due to complete an HP course between June 8 and June 30, 2017 will retain their original due date as they will have at least 30 days before their due date to complete the course.

A notice to this effect will be posted on EOD’s blog (https://diversity.uiowa.edu/hr-unit-rep-toolkit).

Finally, due to changes in the functionality of the vendor’s learning management system, new hires will need to wait one full business day after their appointment has been processed in order to access these online courses in Self Service.

Please email diversity@uiowa.edu with any questions/concerns or to request longer extensions of due dates for individual employees.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding during this outage period.
