Underrepresentation Reports Updated (January 21, 2013)
The Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity (EOD) has updated its website and the Jobs@UIOWA database with the latest data on underrepresentation of women and racial/ethnic minorities in faculty, P&S, and Merit positions at UI. You may use the updated information to determine whether vacant positions that you plan to advertise for your department are currently underrepresented for women and/or racial/ethnic minorities. This information is available in the Jobs@UIOWA system as you create new requisitions.
EOD updated its data resources this year to the newly available 2010 census data, resulting in an increased number of UI’s job groups showing underrepresentation of women and/or minorities.
These updated files are listed on our website under Data & Reports: Underrepresentation Reports in both Excel and .pdf formats. The single Excel file contains separate worksheets for tenure track, non-tenure track, professional & scientific, and Merit positions, which can be sorted and searched as needed. Separate .pdf files are provided for tenure track, non-tenure track, professional & scientific, and Merit positions.
