CDE will continue to offer students free printing on a contact-free pick-up-and-go model.
To take advantage of free printing, email a PDF or Microsoft Office document to email@example.com. Staff at CDE will print the document as they are able between the hours of 9 AM–12 PM and 1–4 PM, Monday through Friday. Staff will then put the document in an envelope with your name written on it, and will leave the envelope on a table outside the CDE space. They will email you when the document is ready to pick up. You can then come to the CDE space and take your envelope off the table.
The table will be taken back inside CDE each day between 4 and 5 PM, so make sure to pick up your document before 4 PM. We make no guarantee that your document will be immediately printed, so it’s best to send things for printing at least one full business day before you need them. If staff cannot print your document due to a technical problem, they will email you and give you an opportunity to send them the file in a different format. They cannot print for you in color.
Please keep in mind that CDE staff will necessarily see your document while they are printing it, and that there is nothing to stop someone else from taking your document off the table. You should not consider this service confidential—we advise against sending us any highly private documents with personal information, such as a Social Security number or credit card info, to print.
