Center for Diversity and Enrichment Reports

The University of Iowa is committed to a climate that respects and values diversity and inclusion, to the recruitment and retention of students, faculty and staff who contribute to diversity, and to administrative procedures and programs that support these initiatives. The Strategic Plan for the University of Iowa, 2016-2021 recognizes diversity as a core value of the UI that sets us on the path towards promoting excellence in education by increasing the diversity of the faculty, staff and students and providing a welcoming and inclusive climate for all members of our community. The College Bound and IMAGES programs foster the university’s diversity goals by supporting outreach to Iowa minority students. The purpose of this outreach is to encourage them to pursue opportunities in higher education and to provide financial support to help them realize their goals. The College Bound and IMAGES programs are important to the university’s wider efforts to promote and maintain a culturally diverse learning environment.

These reports summarize College Bound activities and IMAGES scholarships awarded.
