Organized by the Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and the Center for Teaching, the Social Justice Reading Group aims to promote equity and inclusion by providing UI instructors with the foundational theoretical and pedagogical frameworks and inclusive practices for integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom. Utilizing Zoom and ICON, participants will attend a monthly session to engage in critical conversations with their colleagues about the readings and practice new skills and techniques. All UI Instructors (faculty, instructors, and graduate students with teaching responsibilities) are welcome to register. The Zoom link will be provided through registration.
