The National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI) workshops and principles are being used on hundreds of campuses, K-12 schools, corporations, law enforcement programs, communities, domestic and international political organizations, and peace negotiations. At the University of Iowa, our team offers courses, free of charge, to the campus and community.

Framed through key NCBI principles, the Building Effective Relationships Across Difference session is a four-hour workshop that encourages participants to explore how our identities shape our experiences and our interactions with others. Participants will also examine the dynamics that get in the way of effective relationship-building across group lines.

To register for courses, sign into UI Employee Self Service, click on "My Training" to be rerouted to Learning and Development. Click on “Enroll in Courses” tab and use search bars to find desired sessions.
