Join us for an exciting one-day, public conference on the history of labor and human rights co-sponsored by the University of Iowa Labor Center, the Iowa Labor History Society, the UI History Department, UI Public Policy Center, and UI Center for Human Rights! Featured speakers include Shelton Stromquist, professor emeritus of the UI History Department; MaryBe McMillan, president of the North Carolina AFL-CIO; and Scott Price of the University of Winnipeg's Oral History Centre. Free and open to the public. Lunch provided for particpants who register by April 2.
