Online Harassment Prevention Course Access to be Restored on Mon., Mar. 2, 2020


Access to the online harassment prevention (HP) education courses will be restored in the Compliance & Qualifications system on Mon., Mar. 2, 2020. Your employees will be able to enroll and complete either of the two online HP courses again.

Extension of Due Dates

Due to the extended outage in February, we will be extending the due dates for most employees who were due to complete the course by Mar. 31, 2020. For those who missed their due date in CY 2019, we have not extended their due date. They remain out of compliance for this course.

Messages to Employees Directly Impacted by the Grading Error in Canvas

EOD will directly email the employees who were impacted by the grading error from EverFi to Canvas. These individuals’ due dates will be extended to April 30, 2020 and instructions will be provided on how to complete the course.


Extensions Due to Leaves of Absence

Please contact EOD via to request an extension for employees on extended leaves of absence. These requests must be first be approved by the senior HR leader or associate dean for faculty in your college/division.


Tips/Tech Support for the Online HP Courses

Recommended Browsers:               

Use Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari as your browser.

Other Tips:

1.      Use a PC computer if possible on the UI or UI Health Care campus

2.      Refrain from using Citrix or Remote Desktop to access the UI network and login to the course

3.      Do not attempt to login to the HP course from the VA Hospital computer system


Course Length:

AAO/Supervisors course ≈ 2+ hours

Non-AAO/Non-Supervisors course ≈ 1- 1.5 hours

We strongly recommend employees start early and work on these online courses over multiple sessions.
