The division of diversity, equity, and inclusion is entering the next phase of the UI’s evolving campus climate survey project. The division will release reports from 2021 student data over the next six weeks and then launch a new campus-wide climate survey for students, faculty, and staff on March 29, 2022.

The 2021 student reports reflect the sentiments of professional, graduate, and undergraduate students regarding campus climate during the Spring 2021 semester. The key focus areas include perceptions of belonging on campus and equity in student achievement. In tandem with the release of the reports, division staff will be in conversation with UI leadership, faculty, and staff about the data and encouraging all UI constituents to participate in the spring survey.

The first 2021 student report, highlighting responses from professional students, will be released on February 3, 2022. Stay up to update with the developing timeline on our Campus Climate page to see where we are in our ongoing process of listening, reflection, and action.

Update as of February 1, 2022.

The release of the professional, graduate, and undergraduate survey information will occur in March,  not on the previously published dates.  The reasoning for this is additional time is needed to develop these reports.
