Corey earned his B.S. in Psychology at Washington State University, where he continued his studies to get his masters in Political Science. His studies focused on political psychology, leadership development, global justice and Russian culture. He worked for the university’s Multicultural Student Services for six years and served as an officer in four Native American organizations on his former campus.
Corey currently serves as the Financial Officer for the University of Iowa Native American Council, an advisor to the Native American Student Association, Sigma Lambda Beta Int. Fraternity Inc., and the Asian Pacific American Student Association. His programs on campus are the Iowa First Nations Summer Program, Asian American & Pacific Islander Graduation, Community of Color, Latinx Youth Summit, MyIowa, and is an instructor for the Hawkeye Service Team: Alternative Spring break.
