Originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Kailee left the Hawkeye state to pursue her B.A. in Global and International Studies from the University of Kansas. From there, she went on to receive her M.S. in College Student Personnel from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Her internationally focused studies have allowed her to travel the world and learn two languages, Spanish and Hindi, in the process.
Kailee has held a variety of positions in the realm of higher education including roles within orientation, campus events programming, international student services, and multicultural student life. She works closely with the LGBTQ community at Iowa through her role as an Academic Coach and assists in the planning of The Mirage, Rainbow Graduation, and more. Outside of the office you can catch her playing/coaching Ultimate Frisbee or doing any other outdoor activities!
