The Strategic Plan for the University of Iowa, 2016-2021, recognizes diversity as a core value of the UI that sets us on the path towards promoting excellence in education by increasing the diversity of the faculty, staff, and students and providing a welcoming and inclusive climate for all members of our community. The College Bound and IMAGES programs foster the university’s diversity goals by supporting outreach to Iowa minority students. This outreach aims to encourage them to pursue opportunities in higher education and provide financial support to help them realize their goals.
