Center for Diversity and Enrichment
The Center for Diversity and Enrichment provides precollege student development, assistance with facilitating the enrollment process, and programs and activities that support the ability of underserved students to increase their skills to thrive and succeed at the University of Iowa. Multicultural Specialists are available to talk to students about all aspects of their college experience. We want to make sure your transition to the university is a good one and that you are aware of the opportunities available on campus. Programming for students is offered to enhance the cultural, social, and academic experiences of students. The programs have the goal of building community, celebrating cultures, and educating students on a variety of topics. We invite you to explore our website and the websites of all the CDO offices. We welcome suggestions for ways to enhance your experience at the University of Iowa; please contact us if we can be of assistance to you.
