Policies and procedures are an essential component of any organization. Our policies address pertinent issues, including violations, acceptable behavior by employees, etc. Procedures clearly define how to respond to any policy violations. Being aware of and utilizing both policies and procedures ensure that employers are consistent in their decisions and employees are aware of their rights.

The University of Iowa has established the following Confidential Resources to help people evaluate situations of unwanted behavior or sexual harassment.
