Community members and University of Iowa (UI) international students and scholars staying on campus during the fall break are invited to join International Programs staff for a celebration of community and a traditional holiday meal. The Fall Break Meal will take place Monday, Nov. 20, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (CST) in 1117 University Capitol Centre (with a grab-and-go option available from 2 to 2:30 p.m.).
The meal will feature turkey, mashed potatoes, vegetarian stuffing, macaroni and cheese, green bean casserole, dinner rolls, pies, and apple cider.
Participants will need to register for a specific time slot (ex. 11–11:30 a.m., or 1–1:30 p.m.).
Space is limited in 1117 UCC and we request you make a reservation only if you plan to attend, otherwise you will prevent others from participating.
Sponsored by International Programs and the Office of the Dean of Students, this event is also made possible, in part, due to the generosity of UI alumna Bev Brandau, whose endowment seeks to support programs that directly facilitate interactions between international students and the community.
