Kelly graduated from AIC Business School, Bettendorf, Iowa, in 1983.  She started her University of Iowa career as a Clerk Typist II in Hospital Maintenance in July of 1983 and was promoted to Secretary II in the Parking Office in 1988.  She took her existing position as Secretary III in 1994.  Bridenstine has been at the university for 38 years, and 27 of those have been in my current department of CIAE.

It is her love for working with students that keeps me here and keeps me young at heart. 

Kelly's hobbies include spending time with her three children and two granddaughters, taking cruises with her husband, long walks, and Hawkeye football.
