Haley, a native of Iowa City, earned both her Bachelors of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Human Relations and her Masters of Social Work from the University of Iowa. She is a licensed social worker and member of the National Association of Social Workers.
Prior to joining the Center for Diversity & Enrichment’s TRIO Upward Bound program in November 2015, Haley worked as an advisor for TRIO Student Support Services at Kirkwood Community College and completed a yearlong practicum placement with the University of Iowa’s TRIO UB program while in graduate school. She also has experience working at other local nonprofit agencies including the Domestic Violence Intervention Program (DVIP), Neighborhood Centers of Johnson County (NCJC) and served with AmeriCorps in the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids areas for two and a half years.
In her spare time Haley enjoys cooking, gardening, traveling, yoga and the Iowa Hawkeyes.
