This interactive workshop will encourage participants to explore how our identities shape our experiences and our interactions with others, as well as the dynamics that get in the way of effective relationship-building across difference. Through a model developed by the National Coalition Building Institute, we'll explore strategies for prejudice reduction and welcoming diversity. Note: Individuals who complete or have completed NCBI workshops may obtain credit towards the Building University of Iowa Leadership for Diversity (BUILD) certificate.
