Members of the HR Community and Faculty HR Reps,

For those involved in faculty and staff recruitments, updated data (as of November 2022) on the underrepresentation of women and racial/ethnic minorities in faculty, P&S, and Merit positions at UI is now available. Please use this updated information when planning new searches to determine whether the positions are in an underrepresented group and require additional outreach efforts.

The reports are available through the Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) website reports section under Underrepresentation Reports:

  • An Excel file contains separate worksheets for tenured/tenure track, non-tenure track, professional & scientific, and Merit positions, which can be sorted and searched as needed
  • Separate .pdf files will be listed for tenured/tenure track, non-tenure track, professional & scientific, and Merit positions.

For faculty positions, Jobs@UIOWA reflects the updated information.
